Priscilla Presley and Silicone
AddThis Social Bookmark Button

"Priscilla Presley is the victim of botched cosmetic procedures."

From (TMZ):
Priscilla, whose face looks ... strange on "Dancing with the Stars," went to Dr. Daniel Serrano around 2003. Serrano was a good-looking doc from Argentina who hooked into Hollywood's social A-list and started giving them what he claimed were miracle injections that worked better than Botox.

In fact, Serrano was injecting industrial, low-grade silicone similar to what's used to lubricate auto parts in Argentina into the faces of these women.

Another celebrity falls into the hands of the wrong doctor for cosmetic surgery. So much for fame and fortune immunizing against bad selection of professionals.

If these people - presumably with savvy connections - and living in the world's epicenter of cosmetic surgery, Beverly Hills, can't pick the right doctor, or at least one with a CA medical license, what about the less sophisticated of America?

My latest book, The Essential Cosmetic Surgery Companion, a unique workbook, really makes it easy to avoid doing dumb things. It even has links to the Federation of State Medical Boards to facilitate checking that the doctor working out of his patients' homes (a huge RED FLAG) has a valid medical license.

It's sad that the great accomplishments of modern cosmetic surgery are tainted by crooks, charlatans and grifters. But, in this world, medical or otherwise, it is "Buyer Beware!"

Presley,Priscilla has always been such a stunningly beautiful woman, that I knew something had gone wrong with a procedure on her face.

I will continue to love the stars who let their personality and their laugh lines show. Everyone can't look 20 something, who will play the meaty character roles?

Silicone injections were first done in breasts of Japanese women with longterm disastrous results; later, Las Vegas showgirls also subjected themselves to breast enhancement through silicone injections and suffered horrific consequences. All of this can be researched online. The body was not meant to have all of this dangerous material injected into it. Silicone breaks down into its dangerous components, shifts, ruptures, becomes infected, and the body's immune system rejects it, causing all kinds of autoimmune responses.

It's too bad that we live in a world that puts pressure on women to do foolish things.

Elvis wouldn't have approved. He let himself go naturally with drugs and whatever. Diet, exercise, and genetics are the variables. Do the best with what you got and accept with good humor the consequences of aging. Just remember God loves us all the way we are!

I agree that it's too bad that she didn't feel secure enough with herself to realize how beautiful a woman she ALREADY was...prior to whatever she had done...then botched. She's definitely trying to hide it a lot by covering her face a lot with her hands and "acting" like she has dry lips, putting her hands there to rub them, etc. Poor thing - she cannot even smile any more. All the others were wearing huge smiles...she couldn't even show a small one. Very sad.

How awful to see that someone said that she and others deserve to have things go wrong because they were trying to keep up their appearance. Doesnt the Lord say "he without sin cast the first stone." How can you judge someone that way? As far as those with silicone getting autoimmune disorders, as someone who has never had plastic surgery, but has the autoimmune disorder rheumatoid arthritis, I can tell you that no one deserves the pain and agony that accompanies many of these disorders.

I don't see that Priscilla's intentions were at fault, just the doctor she used. Plenty of womemn get injections to plump their lips or soften wrinkles, especially in the entertainment world. I don't see her as being phony or foolish for wanting to look younger. I see her as being the unfortunate victim of medical incompetence. How can this doctor be allowed to practice on anyone? Something like this can happen to anyone.

I feel very sad for Priscilla Presley. She was such a beautiful woman. I'm proud of her for showing her face with so many problems. She didn't have a very good life. I guess somebody had to marry Elvis. I'm sure glad it wasn't me.

Priscilla Presley is a beautiful, soft spoken woman. She is a successful businesswoman. She went to acting school to become a actress. She has the right to try to look as young as she wants to. Why can't people stop insulting her face and her as a person. It wasn't easy being Mrs. Elvis Presley if it was she would not have left him. I believe she never stopped loving Elvis. They remained friends till his death. Now lets look at all the hard work she has put into keeping Elvis's legacy. Elvis loved his fans and because of Priscilla you can tour Graceland. I believe it was Priscilla's idea to open Graceland to the public, in hopes that people would tour Graceland, and make a profit hopeful enough to keep Graceland maintained as it was when Elvis was living.

I just cannot believe that priscilla presely who has so much money could be so foolish as to completely ruin her face, for life.No amount of botox, plastic surgery or any other "fixer" is going to help her now. It's over Priscilla....you are done. Hope Lisa Marie has more sense!

I do feel sorry for Priscilla. As others here have said, she has always been beautiful on her own. Her lips were perfect and now she looks like someone that no one knows. She looks uncomforable because she knows she looks "different" and is extremely self conscious about it. When i watched her on Dancing With the Stars, I could barely concentrate on the dancing because I kept trying to figure out what was wrong with her face. It is very sad. We are talking about the physical ill-transformation. No one is discrediting all the excellent work she has done to preserve Elvis' memory and making his daughter a very rich woman. She shouldn't have exposed herself to having her already beautiful marred.

It is such a shame that there are so many fake cosmetic doctors out there taking advantage of people...I have seen many cosmetic surgeries that have gone bad...I hope people do their research before they put themselves thru unnecessary procedures...Priscilla is still beautiful...Lets all tell her and let her know that we love her and what she has done for Elvis

I always thought that she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. She was probably afraid that aging would take that incredible beauty away from her so she was desperate to do anything to keep that from happening, even if it meant doing risky injections from an unqualified doctor. I still think that despite the mistake she made she has some beauty left. Her eyes are incredible. She also seems very sweet.

Priscilla is er'was a pretty woman before she got so vain like all the rest, most is not her fault due the fact our young girls are brain washed with over publicized articles in mag's and on T.V. showing stick thin women and very young girls and this makes our female readers believe this is the way to go, sad that they don't realize they are already beautiful from the time they are born and should quit listening to crap on how they should look and act. I always believe if you at anything long enough it starts to look good. She's getting old er not old!! accept it graceful and realize there a lot and I mean a lot that will never make it to her age.

Pricilla is like other women in the public eye. She wanted to stay youthful looking and just happened to get the wrong surgeon. I do remember when Joan Rivers looked like a plastic doll and someone made her look better later on. Perhaps Priscilla will be able to find someone to rectify what's been done to her face. As far as giving Graceland to the public, she sold most of it for a high dollar amount. It was for her benefit more than for the public. After all she had Lisa to think of, right?

I always wondered if years from now some of these bodies are dug up and the people ask"Why is there so much plastic, metal, etc. in these skeletons,it is so sad that so many believe what they read and see.

Can't say I feel sorry for her as she has always wanted and liked having her face in the limelight and being in the news. Not sure she likes what is now being written about now though. : )

If all you see is her face then you are not viewing the whole picture. There is I am certain more to Priscilla than her face. There is a Person there. Priscilla I for one think you are beautiful inside and outside.Keep focus on your character and the kind heart If people see your face and keep focus on that then they dont see the real you and the beauty you possess.
