What's Up With You?
So here's my rant for this month: what's up with no comments on my blog? Not ONE! What do I have to write to get someone to SAY something? I am told that people only comment when I have something "controversial" to say. Those nice, newsy, informational posts are meant for your edification, but inspire no one to talk. Well, I think that's just ridiculous. Why don't you ask questions? Discuss your opinion about the topic? Don't you have something to say?
My nearly 16-yea-old daughter says that I should be grateful; since most people have nothing worthwhile to say anyway, I don't have to listen to any blather. Don't you love teens? What have you got to say?
Laurie

Ok Laurie,
I was diagnosed today with a left Bundle Branch Block. I understand what it is, I just don't know how this will affect me symptom wise? What can I expect and how can I know how serious it is? What should I look for? I'm not even sure what to ask.

Hey Laurie,
I have asked a question or two on your message board and you never answer. Thank goodness for Cardiostar. I know that you don't have time for every question, but no replys. What's up with that?
I, too, just learned that I have a left Budle Branch Block, and when I read the question from Mary in NM, but Laurie's response was removed by the blog administrator. What's the answer?
I am eager to know.
I was diagones with a right budle branch block, understand this one is not serious, the left one should be and I understand can lead to a heart attack. Has something to do with the electrical impulse that cause the valve to the right or left ventricle to close or open..any way got most of the info from webmd.
I have been told that I have a blocked bundle branch. I don't even know what that is, or what it does.
I have known for some time that I have atrial fibrilatin and a left bundle branch block, but found out a week ago that I also have a right bundle branch block, and that at times my heart rate was down in the 30s. So - last Friday I underwent procedure to install a two lead pacemaker. So far, I am 1) told my color looks better, 2) I seem to have a bit more energy 3) don't have the pain I was having the last couple of months with exertion. As for how serious it all is, I don't know, really. Got to ask. But the dr. last week wanted me to have the procedure as soon as possible as I was in danger of passing out and falling or having some other sort of accident.

I was diagnosed yesterday with "incomplete right bundle block". ECG came back abnormal = QRS Axis: -20 P Axis: 38 and T Axis: 69. All my doctor said was we are not going to do anything about this. It sounds to me like my heart is much less than perfect. Can you elaborate?
Thanks you. Ray

Dear Laurie,
My husband, 63 years old, was just diagnosed with right bundle branch block. They found it in an EKG and now we are waiting for results from a nuclear stress test. We would like to know what it is and how long he could go without a pacemaker. The Dr., an internist said it's no big deal but be that as it may, we want to know more details. Could you please answer our concern?

Dear Laurie, if you were not there we would all be yelling "Where is Laurie's Blog?" I read it all the time. LOL We are all so happy and grateful to have you and answering our questions. GOOD JOB. Gloria
RBBB: My son was born with Right Bundle Branch Block, and there is nothing that can be done about it. It is where the electrical conductor which would have received the electrical signal from the bundle if HIS is not received; therefore, when the electrical signals are received the other areas try to receive it. We were told, not to worry, it is a phenomenon to be born with it. He is 16 now and healthy, we get an Echocrdiogram every 3 years, and we have never had any signs of trouble. Recently we found out our family has a strong history of hemochromatosis, which can cause elctrical conduction abnormalities in the heart. However, we were told that if he had been born with Left Bundle Branch Block, they would be more concerned. Many people have the condition after hert surgery. Thats all I know hope it helps!
Hi,
I was just diagnosed with RBBB, after a fainting spell 7 months ago. My doc was not to concerned about it, however just last week I was into a 3 mile run and passed out, they dont know if it was caused by the RBBB, or the fact that I never ate that day, and my sugar was 60. I am a 39 yr old male that runs and lifts weights on a daily basis, now I am scared to. I feel light head and tired all the time... I have 2 young boys, I am really trying to deal with this. I also found out my sister has it also. any suggestions.
