Preparing for a comfortable winter
Well the leaves are reaching peak and the air is growing cool. The first hints of the winter season are beginning to show. Are you ready? Do you have warm footwear with a good sole/tread? This will help prevent falls. How about a hat? It is important to wear hats to help retain body heat when the weather is very cold. If you are prone to headaches, protect your face and ears during temperature extremes as well. And don't forget warm gloves or mitts for your hands. I find when I am cold, I tense my muscles trying to keep warm. My muscles often go into spasm and I suffer greatly. I have learned the importance of wearing warm clothes and avoiding cold chills. Remaining comfortably warm helps me enjoy the colder weather without some of the arthritic pains I might ordinarily have.

Not really a comment, but a question. Can migraines cause different body parts to go numb?
No comment, but a question about pain mgmnt. I have been go to Dr's in this field, who insist on giving me Tylenol #3 & #4, for degenerative disc disease(C2-3 to C6-7) and a herniated disc in my lower right back, arthritis in my right hip, blah blah blah.I am 49 and do not drink alcohol!(recovering alcohol though, years of abuse in my past) Is there a chance tylenol can damage my liver? I have been told I can take up to 5 pills a day, I keep telling these dr's the tylenol's 3 & 4 do not work, so why not try something else, they will not. So, I stay in pain. (I have tried ALL over counter med's to no avail) Can you please give me an answer about the tylenol? I know how tweety feels, I wake up with numbness, arms & hands, stand in shower & feet go numb, etc....but it's not caused by migraines'(I don't really have them-yet!) I like my liver & have heard things about the tylenol #3 & #4 taking to much....whether drinking or not. Finding a good dr. where I live is hard. Thank you & God Bless you!
I am sorry about my mis-spelled wording(sentence's)above! I didn't preview it as you can tell! :(
A question please. After you have shingles the 1st time and you break out, will you break out every time you get shingles?
Hey C2-3 & C6-7 I don't know about the tylenol hurting your stomach, but if you haven't had any kind of surgery. Try going to the U of M in Ann Arbor,MI and see DR. Graziono.(spelling?) He did my daughters back after a doc in Ky screwed her up....
looks like u need to see a surgeon. have you had a mri or any other testing?? have you tried injections? you shouldnt take so much tylenol it will damage your liver over time. there is a excellent surgeon in wichita ks
