When the Weather Outside is Frightful

We have a tendency to want to stay inside where it’s warm and dry. Plus, come on, cleaning up a muddy kid? The prospect makes me want to crawl under a blanket, too. But one Northwestern mom has some good inspiration on how she keeps her kids active every day when the majority of those days are under rainy skies.
Who knows whether or not the groundhog in your area saw his shadow this weekend, but if your winter is going to be an extended one, here are even more ideas to keep the kids busy inside. And if you have some of your own, please share!
