    Snacking To Go

    It looks like we have had the last restful, lazy weekend of winter. Because starting today, it is spring sports season! With two practices and one game a week, we are going to be on the move. So I stocked up on pears and yogurt, and my daughter and I decided to make this custom trail mix to add to our grab-and-go snack collection.

    We mixed it up with some freeze-dried berries and her favorite granola. Added nuts and some chocolate, a bit of popcorn, and viola!

    A few snack sized zip-top bags and we are set for at least a couple of weeks. Plus, as always, it’s fun to get in the kitchen with kids and make something. What are your family’s favorite quick and healthy snacks?
