For the second year in a row, we've been awarded the prestigious Webby "People's Voice" award for health sites. This is your award. You voted for us, and all of us here at WebMD know how important that is -- because it is your voice that matters.

Every day we work to ensure you get the best health information - from basic answers and community support to wellness information and the latest health news - so that WebMD can be your daily source of inspiration and better health.

The Webby Awards only go to "the best of the Web." You can rely on us to maintain that standard every day - with you in mind.

Recently completed the WEB MD "triple survey"
One question asked would I go to a dietician or other non-professional for health advice.
What is with that?
What would Elaine McGee or Kathleen Zelman say to that?
A Registered Dietitian is THE health and nutrition professional to go to.
Please have your experts get their facts straight.

I'm a diabetic, and I use syringes for injecting my insulin.

As I use them I dispose of them in a red plastic, med-waste container.

Now, that it's full, what do I do with it?

For anonymous who is diabetic...

I don't know the answer to your question, but someone on our Type 1 Diabetes message board may know.

Take this URL to that board and ask the very savvy members there -- http://boards.webmd.com/webx/topics/hd/Diabetes/Type-I-Diabetes-Support-Group/

I hope you find the info you need!
