WebMD Wins "People's Voice" Webby

For the second year in a row, we've been awarded the prestigious Webby "People's Voice" award for health sites. This is your award. You voted for us, and all of us here at WebMD know how important that is -- because it is your voice that matters.

Every day we work to ensure you get the best health information - from basic answers and community support to wellness information and the latest health news - so that WebMD can be your daily source of inspiration and better health.

The Webby Awards only go to "the best of the Web." You can rely on us to maintain that standard every day - with you in mind.

Thanks again!

Recently completed the WEB MD "triple survey"
One question asked would I go to a dietician or other non-professional for health advice.
What is with that?
What would Elaine McGee or Kathleen Zelman say to that?
A Registered Dietitian is THE health and nutrition professional to go to.
Please have your experts get their facts straight.

WebMD has saved my family thousands of dollars in unnecesary medical expenses because we've become very savvy shoppers due to your advice.

When someone in my family is sick, I always say, "Have you WebMD'd it yet?"

Two years ago, I was laughing with some of the ladies at the infertility board because we read about a couple in Albania who had named their baby George Bush because he had visited them. We said we were going to name our babies Walter WebMD! thanks for the babies!

I'm a diabetic, and I use syringes for injecting my insulin.

As I use them I dispose of them in a red plastic, med-waste container.

Now, that it's full, what do I do with it?

Great job on the awards. I have been searching on your web site for about 5 years. Thanks to your information I was able to take symptoms to our Doctor and he diagnosed my husband with PD. He has since passed, but thank you for giving all the symptoms and tips for improving our health.
